Tim seemed to be a nice man but he was the garbageman’s son. I call him that, as a Catholic, he could have used his position to stand up for the millions of murdered babies but didn’t. He loved his fame and money more. If he had stood up for the babies, he would have been driving a garbage truck, too. Savage called him the garbageman’s son and I wholeheartedly agree.
Has anyone asked Big Russ if he’s sorry about the weak heart he bequeathed his son?
A Crown Vic is a luxury car?
No disrespect to you intended, but you are only 20. If you had kids for any length of time, you would understand that NEVER hugging your son, and NEVER telling him you love him is meaner than if he had beat him and told him he hated him. At least that would have been honest. Dishonest indifference to a child is torture, because you spend a lifetime seeking approval you will NEVER receive.
How do you know that it seems like he and his dad really got along well.
Tim was amazing..everyone’s dream dad, not because he was rich but because he was kind warm hearted guy…RIP Tim Russert
Tim Russert was a great man. His Dad is/was an asshole. He treated Tim like garbage. Tim Spent his whole life trying to get his approval, and all he got was mediocre acknowledgement of his very existence. Never hugged him? Never said he loved him? Tim had a heavy heart. Big Russ only accepted a Crown Victoria from his son, not because of how it would appear, but because he could never accept a luxuty car from his son when he could never afford one on his own. Tim suffers no more.
It made me cry. God bless you Tim. we all love you, we all miss you.
What great people. RIP Tim. Best wishes to Russert family.
Re-broadcast on that day, I think. On a side note, the graphics and colours on national news shows are a staple in the local news broadcasts today. Get ready to see lots of orange on your local news in the future.
